The evening celebrates ECS' workforce development program that enables individuals who have experienced homelessness or extreme poverty to train, intern, and find employment in the culinary industry. Our students don't just learn to cook - they learn the life skills, resilience, and professional habits needed to retain a job and move out of poverty permanently.
The CHEFS Gala enables us to raise funds for ECS programs and to expand economic opportunities for those who have experienced homelessness or extreme poverty.
